Slowly getting the hang of this whole “work/life balance” thing recently 💁🏼‍♀️

What a WILD day Friday was 🤩

From the moment Ash and I were appointed Hair & Makeup Directors for @mycharityrunway we were absolutely pumped to be part of such an incredible event.

The behind the scenes is always one of my favourite parts. From the initial concept and planning to creating the hair and makeup direction for the day, our vision was all about enhancing each model’s natural beauty. Fresh, glowy, luminous skin, soft beautiful makeup and hair that complemented the incredible designs rather than competed with them.

And then came SHOW DAY… 26 models, 12 designers, 12 charities and one very busy backstage glam room!

None of it could have happened without our incredible hair and makeup team, @kerriegentlemakeupandbeauty , @_thatmakeupgirl , @makeupbytali__ , @___bybronte and @hairandscalp.bykate . You girls worked your magic and absolutely smashed it.

We were so lucky to have the incredible @runwayroom supplying our makeup for the day and @avedaaustralia supporting the hair team. Having such beautiful products to work with made bringing our vision to life even better.

A huge thank you to @mycharityrunway @sarahquinnmcr and @garywholmes_ for trusting Ash and I with the hair and makeup direction for such an epic event at @doltonehouse What a day, what a show and what an absolute privilege to be part of it.

Still riding the high from this one 🤍

The right brows don’t change who you are, they bring your features into balance and enhance what you already have.

Whether you’re after a subtle tidy, a fuller shape or a complete brow transformation, I’ll create brows that suit your face and your lifestyle.

I’ve been shaping brows for over 27 years, and there’s nothing better than seeing someone look in the mirror and feel confident in their own skin.

Now taking brow bookings at Bleach Babes Studio in Brookvale.

Send me a DM to book or via my website, link in bio.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

This gorgeous human is my salon sister, Ash from @bleach.babes.studio . We first met around 15 years ago when we were both flight attendants, and while life took us in different directions, we’ve always stayed connected.

Over the years, Ash has been the only hairstylist I would trust to work alongside me at our @kerriexsimone workshops. Then last year, when I was stressing about finding a new space for my little salon after moving out of our home, Ash didn’t hesitate for a second. She opened her doors and offered me a place in her salon.

What started as a practical solution has become so much more. Not only do I get to work alongside this incredible woman every day, but so many amazing opportunities have come from being part of the Bleach Babes family.

Ash, you inspire me constantly. I love your passion, your creativity, your stories, your generosity and your heart. I love watching you work. You are one of those rare people who genuinely lifts everyone around you.

And now, as we plan one of our biggest projects yet—a huge charity runway event where we’ve been asked to be Hair & Makeup Directors together for @mycharityrunway - I honestly couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone else.

Thank you for believing in me, supporting me and sharing this journey with me. I love you, babe, and I’m so excited to see what the future holds for us.

Here’s to salon sisters, big dreams and the magic that happens when amazing women support each other. ❤️

A beautiful afternoon with Aveeno at the House of Strength, learning more about the skin moisture barrier and why it’s so important for healthy, resilient skin.

One of the most interesting parts of the experience was having an in-depth skin scan. It was fascinating, but also a little confronting. My results showed that my skin is currently ageing around two years ahead of where it should be, largely due to low hydration levels.

It’s a timely reminder that during the cooler months, hydration needs extra attention. Richer moisturisers, barrier-supporting skincare and making a conscious effort to keep up our water intake can make a real difference, even when we’re not feeling as thirsty as we do in summer.

A great event, some valuable expert insights, and a reminder that healthy skin starts with a strong, hydrated barrier.
